David Jacobs
David serves as the Chief Humanitarian Officer, where he works with the White Mountain Research team to rescue, protect, and help rebuild the lives of persecuted communities and refugees around the world. With a background that bridges political strategy, humanitarian operations, and undercover fieldwork, Jacobs brings a unique perspective to the global fight for freedom and human dignity.
Before dedicating his career full-time to humanitarian and anti-trafficking efforts, Jacobs spent nearly two decades as a political strategist and partner at Arena Communications. He helped craft communications and policy strategies for presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, and congressional campaigns nationwide—managing programs for more than 125 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and advising several national political organizations.
In the humanitarian arena, Jacobs has helped lead major global operations. He played a key role in coordinating the evacuation of more than 14,000 refugees from Afghanistan following the U.S. withdrawal in 2021, with over 9,500 individuals flown to safety on chartered aircraft. He has also supported operations in Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Haiti, and throughout South America, Central America, Africa, and the broader Middle East.
Beyond strategic leadership, Jacobs brings firsthand operational insight through immersive field and undercover work, having operated alongside foreign law enforcement agencies in approximately a dozen countries. His boots-on-the-ground experience continues to shape his approach to leading complex international missions.
Jacobs holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Utah. He lives in the Mountain West with his wife and their four sons. He believes his success is measured by one simple question he asks himself at the end of each day: Have I helped ease someone’s suffering today?
