WMR CEO Rudy Atallah takes flights over Kenya and Botswana to look at anti-poaching operations. We work with local law enforcement and government officials to fight illegal wildlife crime committed by poachers against lions, elephants, tigers, rhinos, pangolins, and other species.
The White Mountain Research Group works on many highly complex issues with officials from around the globe. We are working with Tuareg from Mali to explain to Members of Congress and U.S. State Department officials the critical situation in the Sahara. In addition, we are working with Doctor Denis Mukwege, 2019 Nobel Peace Prize awardee, on critical security and humanitarian issues in Eastern Congo. At the Atlantic Council, CEO Rudy Atallah speaks with international officials on proactive counter-terrorism measures and the way forward to prevent violent radicalism bleeding into peaceful communities. Also, we are on the ground in Africa helping enhance the security postures of remote communities by working directly with village chiefs.
WMR Middle East Operations Manager Jawad Abou Jaoude provides security for humanitarian efforts in Iraq. Our mission is to ensure the safety and security of IDPs as well as obtain their basic human needs: potable water, proper medical care, shelter, and food. WMR is recognized by the Australian Government, the United Nations and Kurdistan Regional Government as the “go to” entity for vetting refugees and providing for their well being.

WMR fed over 100 poor CHRISTIAN families in Beirut during Easter week. Many of them lost loved ones fighting radical groups like Hizballah and Daesh over the years.

We have successfully moved more than 6,000 persecuted Christians and Yazidis from frontlines in Syria and Iraq in 2018.
White Mountain Research has also initiated a new project to assist in the relocation of more than 2,000 of the poorest and most vulnerable people in the region. This operation is critical to our Australian partners as this is a group that they lost contact with during the war. We were able to locate them and are now ready to assist with their processing. A member of the Australian Parliament was dispatched to region to meet with TNF to plead for immediate action.

White Mountain Research’s Jawad Abou Jaoude is the operations manager for our Middle East projects. Part of his responsibilities are assessing the vulnerabilities of at-risk communities. Pictured here in Iraq with Iraqi forces nearby, he looks over damaged villages in Mosul and Western Iraq, including burned out buildings and Assyrian chapels that were left in the wake of hostilities towards persecuted minorities. WMR provides the security and logistics for relocating displaced peoples and helping rebuild their communities.

The Australian Middle East regional director (equivalent to a US Assistant Secretary of State) flew in from Sydney for the occasion. This award represents a team effort by all of us. We are all blessed and honored to work together as a family.
The Australians want us to continue on the same trajectory next year. This means, we have thousands of more people to rescue from combat zones. In fact, we are the only people/company they rely on for this type of work.
